Next it's on to then-communist Eastern Europe, into workers' hostels, private homes and community streets where gypsies are found--a penetrating underground tour of a fabled peoples existence.

Beats of the Heart is a fourteen-part series of music documentaries by noted English film maker, Jeremy Marre.  Each part examines from a street-level perspective a different music scene from around the world.  Artists from myriad cultures are captured in moments of spontaneous performances and intimate revelations.
